ARTreach: project identity

ARTreach is a community project run across Perth and Fremantle to engage with vulnerable and homeless in the community. It encourages those experiencing isolation to come together on specific days to paint and take about their stories with support services present to help and assist their needs. Homeless Indigenous Australians were particularly encouraged to participate with painting of their particular stories and journeys. The new identity Whitespace designed and produced for the project was highly successful and resulted in a community exhibition in Fremantle in 2017 where the artworks were submitted by the artists present themselves for public auction. Substantial sums were raised to further build community support services for those homeless and vulnerable people of Perth and Fremantle.
